The Tree of Friendships

 

It’s funny when

you think no one matters them

you’re alone and can’t pretend

everything’s ok anymore.

 

“Find good people

because you’ll need them,”

I thought.

I was wrong.

 

A friendship only alive when you want it

isn’t a friendship.

Don’t be with someone because you’re scared of being alone or

because you need someone.

 

You can’t find the best

when you need the best.

You find true friends because you complement

each other.

And you spend time together

for the love of growing

the tree of friendships.

 

Yet not out of self-interest.

 

 

Don’t use friends only when you need or them strickly for your own needs
